It is time to start bringing in your student's science boards and speeches. We will start to spend time in class practicing speeches. You should also continue to practice their speech at home. Please have the boards and speeches in by Friday.

Ripple in Still Water
Hello Parents,
Just a quick update.
You will be receiving a science fair packet soon. This packet will outline the steps you and your student will follow for the science fair. In the mean time you and your student can start to look for project ideas online. I found some nice websites just by going to Google. Just type in 2nd and 3rd grade science fair ideas.
Next Friday the Roadrunners will participate in a Spelling Bee here at school. Mr. Butler and I will facilitate it for our class. The Roadrunners will be competing against each other. I am not forcing any student to participate in the bee. Talk to your student to see if they are going to participate. This bee is not the one where if they win they can go on to regionals. They must be fourth grade age to participate in that bee.
