PGA West Palmer Course

"Hey Mister Butler, why is the playground white?"

"Let's make a snowman!"

"My hand is melting the snow!"

"Can we eat the snow?"

"Oh Mr. Butler..."

"I love snow!"

"This is the best day ever!"

"Snow!"

"We want it to snow forever!"

We have had a fun filled week. We grappled with the concepts of civil rights, we recorded what our dreams were for the world, and we discussed peaceful ways to resolve conflicts. We remained dry and happy on our trek to the Lloyd Center Ice Skating Rink. The children are more than excited about the thought of learning cursive. I was glad to see that everyone arrived safely, and smiling at school these past two days. I hope you enjoy the pictures of the Roadrunners frolicking in the snow!

Waialae CC

Happy Birthday Avni!
We had a wonderful celebration with icy delights and laughter.
Thank you Vikas and Pratima for the delicious treats!

Look Mom no teeth!

The Roadrunners are breaking The Tooth Fairy's bank!
It has been a successful two weeks. Our goals in math are to become masters of multiplication, dive into division and practice our two part math problems. In reading we are improving our vocabulary, practicing our phonemes and reading for comprehension. Phonics is the part of the day when we sharpen our language mechanics and language expression. When lunch is over we continue on to gym where we develop our muscles and practice our eye hand coordination. The Roadrunners slide into Mr. Dougherty's science class where they are learning about the secrets of the universe. When the Roadrunners return to planet Earth they dive into writing where they record their 2012 New Year's resolutions. We are already looking forward to next Tuesday when we transform into hockey stars and dancing ice princesses. Enjoy the rest of your week!

Plantation Course at Kapalua

Avni showing off her tropical hair style!

Parents, drop your kids off at school and enjoy your day. Christmas break is over and CLASS Academy is back in session... and not a moment too soon! The children have returned to the classrooms and they are thirsty for knowledge. Here are some pictures of our lesson on liquid measurement. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I did taking them.

Remember to ask your Roadrunner, "How many cups are in one gallon?"

P.S. Thank you for your generous Christmas gifts and kind Holiday cards I am truly blessed to have you all as friends.
